MCPD: 37 weeks 1 day
Ouch. I’ve been experiencing the Braxton Hicks (BH) contractions every once in a while since I entered the ninth month. Whenever I get this false labour it starts with my tummy bunched up and harden. At first I thought it was the baby who is stretching, in actual fact it's actually a contraction when the tummy is practicing to the actual labour. When it strikes, I feel pressure on my lung, making me hard to breath. This continues, then everything goes back to normal. Yesterday and today the contraction getting more often. It hurts when the tightening happens and when a real sharp pain attacks my down there and thighs that I barely walk. Seems like the baby is pressing on to his escape canal or something. At night when I start to lie down, it happens quite differently, the tummy gets harden and I feel a cramp, menstrual-like feeling.
Anyway, I hope I'll get to be aware once the real contraction strikes. Now I'm 37 weeks and there are three more weeks to go. I feel that I'm getting closer and closer since I have experienced the pre-labour symptoms. This time I'm not that energetic as I used to be. I feel tired and mostly exhausted. For the time being, I feel like I can get in to labour anytime (soon?) and I'm just not ready and freaked out. I need to have my mom come here first. They're coming on September 10. I hope LO will stay there until I'm completely ready or at least until it's close to the due date.
