Sheraz and the Bike

One of the reasons why we got him a bike is we want to get rid of his walker. Yes, surprisingly he NOW likes to play IN his walker. Last time he screamed when we put him in, because he knew that putting him there is like leashing him. It might be selfish but it was practical especially during washroom 'emergency call' or while cooking and while no one was around to handle him. Being in the walker limited him from climbing here and there. Why we wanted to get rid and dissemble the walker is that, that thing has become dangerous since he knew how to climb to get into and out from it, which is dangerous. Why we haven't done so is because he still enjoys the music buttons.

So back to the bike. This one is age appropriate, but we were wrong to think that this is a lot safer because how he plays it is no good for my nerves. How he's treating it is way beyond our expectations. He likes to perform stunts on the bike; standing on the seat, trying to not to hold the handle WHILE standing on the seat. How cool is that! Oh yes, this reminds myself, I'm a mother of a BOY.
